Inclusion of Secretary General in the pay commission meeting

 Dear Members,

I am attaching scanned copy of letter received from one Confederation affiliated to INTUC, which included me as a member for bargaining in the VII CPC.   I am not aware how they included me  with them.

I seek valuable opinion/suggestion of  our members  whether we have to associate with them for  Pay commission benefit.  Actually we are not politically affiliated.

I will act  based on your  suggestion only

M.Harisuthan
Secretary General.

  1. Dear Secretary General,

I am happy to note that your name has been included as a member of barganning in the VII CPC.

As far as I am concerned, we have to accept this because atleast we have an opportunity to explain the pathetic service conditions of Stenographers working in different subordinate offices across India and to expose before the VII CPC the step-mother treatment towards subordinate office Stenographers by the DoPT. After all, now-a-days, political support is required to get something from the Government side and we have to cleverly utilise this opportunity.

    Regards,
    M.P.Sivakumar

  2. It is a golden opportunity to highlight the injustice given to subordinate office stenographers. In my opinion we must utilise this opportunity for betterment of our service conditions.

  4. Why we need grade pay ? All problems begins with grade pay. Please try to avoid grade pay and restore time scale.

  5. You remember, I am the first man, suggested you to get a Membership in JCM Meetings. You should accept this opportunity and highlight our problems at the Central. Wish you all the Best.

It should be accepted for the sake of interest of stenographers especially of filed offices. By this, at least we can solve the injustice being meted out to us by DOPT. When the CPC has recommended parity and the Govt. has accepted, till then the recommendations have not yet implemented by Ministry/Departments due to lack of speaking orders of DOPT in this regard. All these can be solved through the extant CPC if we can put forth our grievances in a systematic, logical and presentable manner.
