So far as other duties and responsibilities of a Stenographer or PA/PS/SPPS nothing to comment except in the bottom line which goes "To assist the officer in the manner desired by him/her". It speaks a lot of thing. The meaning of this particular assignment is far reaching having no boundary. It fully depends upon the "manner" of the officer, if he good mannered then nothing to say but on the contrary if he ill-mannered then it is a matter of concern for Stenos/PA/PSs etc. So in my opinion this particular assignment to Stenos/PA/PS etc. should be deleted from the duties & responsibilities or it should be enumerated explicitly. Please ponder over this
