Hota, Member, Kolkata - Many Many Good Wishes to all the Members of CAICGSA and Thanks to all pioneers for their Historical Efforts to for creation of a Dynamic Institution to fight for the noble cause of Stenographers suffering from financial deprivation by way of blocking promotional hierarchy, step-motherly treatment between stenographers of CSSS and Subordinate Offices; the former are luckier as the DOPT suo moto award them time bound in-situ promotion from Steno Gr. DPB1-2800 to Steno Gr. CPB2-4600, to PA PB2-4800, PS PB3-5400 and PPS PB3-6600, within a span of 10 years apprx. without bothering the majority of the Stenographers, who handle all the same and similar work, which emanates from Delhi but the objectives are implemented by the field force. I have read from the Press Release issued by Mr. KKN Kutty, Secretary General of CCGE&W, that when the Item No.1 to 5 were raised,the Staff Side replied that the 6th CPC has recommended in this version. Do you, my friends agree to the sheer false statement of the Govt ? Unless we consolidate our strength and take all recourses from making continuous demands to challenge the mala fide discriminatory stand of the Govt., our plight will never see the light of the day.
I fully agree with Shri R.K.Hota. We have to fight tooth and nail against the step motherly treatment of DOPT. In this connection I want to know whether the letter of CAICGSA addressed to the Secretary, DOPT has been duly acknowledged by them? As per my knowledge, the letters of service unions should be acknowledged first. If the letter is not acknowledged the same should be obtained by pursuing them. Moreover, we have to write repeated reminders to get the things moved at a rapid pace. Since we don't have so much at our disposal we have to expedite things. Otherwise another Pay commission will come into force and our problems will remain unattended.
