Dear Members,
I am attaching a copy of Swamy's news published during 2000 in which the Ministry's letter specifying the duties of Stenographers/PS/PAs in Central Government departments mentioned. It is sad that some departments even senior stenographers are directed to do other duties than the stenographers supposed to do. Members may please represent to concerned authorities and if any such cases prevails the matter may be brought to the notice of the Secretary General for taking up with Higher authorities.
