From: Jorge Bravo <jorgebravo2005@gmail.com> on Sun, 19 Aug 2018 08:11:25 Add to address bookTo: You & 1 other | See Details

Good morning: I am Jorge Bravo. I am the general director of Stenographers in the Argentine Senate. And I'm doing a radio program of shorthand on the radio in the congress library. In these programs we talk about everything related to the shorthand and the profession of stenographers in Argentina and in the world. A few weeks ago we made some programs about shorthand associations in different countries. Today I have met through the internet the existence of your association. I would like to be information about it. For example, when it was created, what functions it fulfills, how many associates it has, how many stenographers there are in India... Also in our program we usually refer to the history of shorthand in different countries. Would it be possible for you to send us a history of shorthand in India? Everything you can send us will be very welcome.
The radio program is called "Palabras Dibujadas" ("Drawn Words" in english) and the website where you can listen us on friday is www.bcnradio.com.ar

Best regards
Jorge Bravo

CAT update

Dear members,

It is sad that  our CAT case is still pending at CAT,Ernakulam.  Though arguments are almost completed and counter affidavit also filed by DOPT and our Advocate, the case is posted for hearing  on 25-5-2018.  It is believed that   as per the recent Hon'ble Supreme Court Judgement on equal  pay for equal work, we will also win the case.   Expecting for good result within one of or two sittings.
